Love Trigun and want to give its creator Yasuhiro Nightow a hug or more? Well now you can, because Anime Expo just announced that Trigun’s mangaka Yasuhiro Nightow and Trigun the movie director Satoshi Nishimura will be this year’s guest of honor. Since they are going to be here in the States and everything, we are going to milk them of all information they are holding about the new Trigun movie, Vash vs. Wolfwood. They will be doing this in a panel about the movie itself; where they will also be talking about experience they had while in the production stages of this new film. Also, I am told that they are going to be talking about “various behind-the-scene episodes’, what ever that means.

This is good and everything, but he isn’t exactly new to the con circuit. You would think that the guest of honor would be someone that hasn’t been to a convention before; but then again the movie is coming out (hopefully) soon, so there is a reason behind it. Anime Expo will be going down July 2-5 in the Los Angeles Convention Center. For those of you going, be sure to let him know of the monster he unleashed on cosplay. Because you know you will still see bad Vash cosplay 30 years from now.
