Before we get to this week’s debate, let's look at last week’s. Seems like choosing who to shack up with, either Griffith or Akio Ohtori, is a hard choice for some of you Japanatorians out there. Or maybe last week’s debate just sucked. Either way, the winner is Griffith. If you are reading this Gutts, please don’t kill me. I’m not associated with him in any way -- he won fair and square.
Griffith: 12
Akio Ohtori: 4
Brad Rice: 1
Now it’s time to hit up our main event, and what an event it is this week. It can be seen exclusively after the jump.
This week’s debate is centered around one man, Char Aznable. He is so popular and well loved that other anime clone his character so that he may live on forever in our hearts. These characters are based off his appearance, having blonde hair and owning either a mask or sunglasses. This character is usually a protagonist or a primary rival in the storyline, and might have a thing for the loli. He is also obsessed with red, if you haven’t yet noticed. Here is a list of some of the Char clones out there today; and trust me, there are a lot of them.
Zechs Merquise from Gundam Wing
Graham Aker from Gundam 00
Rau Le Creuset from Gundam SEED
Schwarz Bruder from G Gundam
Harry Ord from ∀ Gundam
Athrun Zala from Gundam SEED Destiny
Mu La Flaga from Gundam SEED Destiny
Gilbert Durandal from Gundam SEED Destiny
Ken Masters from Street Fighter
Zero from Mega Man X
Seifer Almasy from Final Fantasy VIII
Bartholomew Fatima from Xenogears
Daisuke Enomoto from real life
Harry McKenzie from School Rumble
[EiC's addition: Charmander from Pokemon! Look, he's reddish-orange with yellow accents. And on top of that, he says "char" all the time! What a tribute!]
