Gurren Lagann, in the end, will end up being the strongest. But if this was a fight between the orginal Gurren Lagann and Buster Machine 1 and 2, then i would have to say Buster Machine.

Um hello there people. Gunbuster would win no matter what but I say it would be a tie. To much guts in the battle and most likly both pilots would just become friends.

I say Gurren Lagann would win just because of the fact that it has a bit more diversity than Gunbuster. It can literally turn a drill into anything >_>

Like that time when it changed it to a shield, to protect Arc Gurren. Hell they can use it to make a sword and shield if they wanted to.

Gunbuster has a huuuuge amount of arsenals but Lagann's drills are more diverse.

First Size.

I don't have an exact measurement but Gurren Lagann is somewhere in the area of 10-15 meter's in height GunBuster is either 200 or 250 meter's in height so Size advantage goes to GunBuster.Big time.

Second speed.

Gurren Lagann's speed is... non-existent in comparison to GunBuster it would at it's fastest litterally appear to be standing still from GunBuster's point of view.Considering that GunBuster moves and fight's at roughly 99% the speed of light that's not an insult in the amount of time it would take Gurren Lagann to raise itself a few inch's off the the ground GunBuster could snatch it up in it's hand, rip it in half, crush both halfs by squezing them, smash the two crushed halves together, rub them into scrap, throw it at the ground, stomp on it then leave to get some thing to eat in another country.

Last destructive power

GunBuster hand's down, It's Buster Beam is strong enough to pierce and cut planet's in half with ease, It's buster koreda destroyed two enemy's the size of small moon's, it's buster missiles exact damage output is not currently known to me but the fact that there fired from something that move's at 99% of the speed of light means that the kinetic damage alone would be psychotic, the Super Inazuma Kick is... just freaking insane for just being a kick, then there's the buster tomahawk and the buster homerun, and of course the fact it's body is apparantly covered in Laser cannon's and laser gatling's, and the inertial canceller and the buster sheild give it awesome defensive power. the basic Gurren Lagann has nothing on that, nothing at all, the Arc might and the Chouginga does but not the basic one.

GunBuster wins period.

Um I'm not sure when TTGL ended but I have a feeling it was before this argument.

The TTGL is multiple light years tall, it can destroy whole galaxies with ease, it's probably the fastest mech ever seeing how each step is a few light years, it defeated a semi omnipotent enemy who's specialty is taking down things powered by fighting spirit despite the fact that the TTGL is 100% fighting spirit. It also took the force of a big bang to the face and only came out even stronger.

Yeah the Gunbuster isn't even strong enough to destroy the TTGL even if it just stood there and didn't fight back.
