We just got back from Otakon yesterday, and already we're gearing up for Comic Con. I'm actually still in the process of figuring out how I'm going to work out my transportation for the convention despite actually living in San Diego. Amazing, isn't it? Any ways, that business aside, it's time for last week's results. It seems as though is was a small but heated debate, and fortunately we were able to determine a winner. Guyver defeats Tekkaman by a mere 6 votes.

Hit the jump for next week's debate!
I've actually had this argument with my musician friends before, and I think it'd be worth tossing it up for debate here. PaRappa the Rapper was a classic rhythm game for the PSone and more recently, the PSP. It features a dog turned professional rapper who longs for the love of his life, and motivates himself through his rhymes. Animal Crossing is a bit more popular of a title, and probably doesn't need to be explained, suffice to say it features the music of a guitar-toting canine by the name of K.K. Slider. Unlike PaRappa, Slider lives purely for his art. So who is the top dog?
Being a musician and dog lover, I'm partial to both, but I personally think PaRappa has nothing on Slider. Sure, he's got some hot dance moves, takes his lessons from an onion, and spits out some lyrical rhymes worthy of Will Smith, but K.K. Slider is a one man band. Oh yeah, and he played Otakon. PaRappa does have a goal in life though, and isn't a homeless drug addict either--okay well not homeless any ways. He also doesn't cheapen his art by giving it away for free. On the other hand, who needs a house or money, when you're spending each night in another woman's bed, as evidenced by the song below. So, who will it be? The rapper extraordinaire, or the consummate musician? You decide.
I didn't even know PaRappa had a story behind it. I never really did read what they were saying. I only payed attention to the onion. Either way, I'll vote for the classic and go with PaRappa since I have yet to play Animal Crossing.
Totakeke, easy.
Beneath a cute exterior lies the heart of a rebel. He puts on live shows, takes requests, and hands out bootlegs for free, to fight those corporate fatcats. And his singing voice is adorable.
Also, his music really livens up your house. Go Go KK Rider! is in my stereo, is it in yours?
i have to give my love to my dog K.K. I spent many a Saturday night at home just waiting to get all the tapes in AC for the GC. Clock changing be damned.
Oh, this is tough, both gave me tons of memories as a kid. I'd think I gotta go with K.K. Slider though.
I mean, who here whose played Animal Crossing DIDN'T eagerly wait for every Saturday evening to listen to the dog play? K.K. is the epitome of cool cat...in dog form. PaRappa can only hope to be as smooth as K.K.
