I have to say I hate Inuyasha more, simply because it is the show that will never end. It goes on and on my friend. Some people started watching it, not knowing what it was, and they will keep watching it because... you get the idea.

Shows: Naruto is actually pretty good, and is a great kid's show that has managed to keep up a pretty interesting story for this long. InuYasha failed from episode, by being fairly boring and pointless and annoying.

Characters: Naruto is a bit squirrely, but still a pretty cool kid, while InuYasha just drives me insane.

So InuYasha fails on both accounts.

Naruto has taken a while to grow on me, to say the least. Recent manga developments won me, though: They show that Naruto is still hot headed, but still knows what's best and can make more mature decisions. The kid's grown up.

Inuyasha, on the other hand, is a one-trick horse, and it ain't actually that cool of a trick. He's, for the lack of a better word, BORING.

Heck, in the end, I think Naruto has grown up more than Inuyasha has ever done, and I think that's really important.

My God! They both have such problems, seeing as everyone is going by anime and character I'll give two votes. If we're going by overall anime + manga and cosplayers all together, Inuyasha, my god those fangirls squee like no others and make more yaoi then any others, now if we are going by a character basis then Naruto, I saw the anime in dub and watched the manga for awhile before being bored by both, but my god the kid is ADD and I have ADD, I mean, god, the whole "My family was...blah blah blah...be the best there ever was to challenge them is my real test to train--"wait ok wrong anime but still you get the idea. I mean even some of the other characters in that show were more interesting then him, and then the whole "Ooh I have a mystical power that I have that beats everyone else but must be controlled otherwise I get all hyper and destructive" both Inuyasha and Naruto are guilty of this, I digress.

But for the one vote for which I hate more for this poll...it's Inuyasha, it was just so much fangirl-service and non-ending pointlessness, filler, emo, anti-gar, fangirl-service, men/demons in hot-tubs, oh yeah and did I mention FANGIRL-SERVICE!, that my utter hatred/disappointment for that anime succeeds alot of other things. Also the fangirls of that anime "That I know in real life" refuse to date real men and think that they are superior to all other anime fans, I know not all Inuyasha fangirls are like this but man they piss me off.

Back before they droned off with the chuunin exam stuff I actually enjoyed the show a lot and thought the characters were kinda cool. Naruto himself was a bit of a goofball, but he was alright.

Well, character-wise I'd have to say that Inuyasha is a little bit more annoying. I loved Ranma, but hearing Ranma's voice (I think) on him just makes my blood boil. Naruto is only annoying to me in english, and even though he has his "I'm dumber than a bag of nails" moments, he has a little common sense and he is totally watchable in the Shippuuden series.

Inuyasha is... yeah... I'd rather watch someone take a shit in slow motion with the smell intensified 1000 times than watch him again...

Inuyahsa is MUCH worse. Inuyasha has stuck with the same villian since the beginning, who isn't very combat capable, but rather, is unkillable. Naraku is like Aku from Samurai Jack, except he's no where near as entertaining. At the very least, Naruto has a wider range of characters, but the Dragonball influence is starting to overtake the premise of the series.
