Tuesday Otaku Debate: Who would you rather have as a baby sitter? Piccolo vs. Kenpachi photo



The polls are over, and the votes have been tallied. Now the wait is over, here are your representatives for the anime presidential elections. Light Yagami will represent the Republican party with Rossiu Adai as the Vice President candidate. Haruhi Suzumiya will represent the Democrats with Eikichi Onizuka as the Vice President candidate. While the Independents shall be represented by Kafuka Fura with L as the Vice President candidate. Be sure to check back here in November to finish this legendary Presidential election.

Now we have a very interesting debate this week. Assuming you have children, who would you rather have as a babysitter, Piccolo from Dragon Ball, or Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach. They both are extremely dangerous, veteran fighters, and monsters in their own regard; but for some reason like children as well. Now Kenpachi might fight the child as a means of entertaining it, and Piccolo would probably kidnap the poor child and place it in the middle of some God-forsaken wilderness for a year or so. So either way the child will not be the same no matter what; but at least it will be able to beat you up if its still alive. So who’s it going to be Japanator?

Kenpachi. We already know he's good with kids. So is Piccolo, I guess, but I don't want my kids shooting energy balls, and I'm not sure what stance Namekians have on pedophilia, so I wouldn't want him around my children.

This... This it tough! TOUGH AS NAILS.
I mean, Piccolo with the GOKUU hat has unexplainable EXTRA APPEAL that makes him seem more suitable to babysitting duties (Even if he'll still abandon the child in the wilderness).

I think I'll go with Kenpachi. He might be a battle-thirsty maniac whose love for combat can only be compared with his love for fresh sword-drawn blood... And yet the only person he seems to care about OUTSIDE of combat is an adorable pink haired little girl that everyone befriends just like that. Clearly, the man knows how to deal with children outside of battle. And possibly within as well.

I would rather have Piccolo as a babysitter... but Kenpachi as a role model.

Then again... Yachiru is pretty awesome. She's a prime example of his ability to take care of his kids. So, nvm... I choose Kenpachi.

Either one could protect kids from this guy, but I vote kenpachi cuz he would bring Yachiu.

Kenpachi, not only his he my favorite Bleach character, he's not interested in weaklings, so if the kid is weak he's probably safe. And if Yachiru comes along, she could play with the kid. As for Piccolo you said Piccolo from Dragon Ball, he wasn't any good with kids in those days.

I remember getting some DBZ episode unsubtitled, without any plot summaries back in college a LONG time ago, and a group of us just laughed as "that green dude beat the crap out of that damn 6 year old".

Piccolo or Kenpachi? What's the difference? Both are literally devils.. But I'd leave my children with Piccolo, he's less devilish and maybe more harsh - discipline and training is important!
