Last week we had the debate of the maids, this week we have the debate of the butlers, but let’s hold off on that for now. The combatants of last debate were Yomiko Readman from Read or Die, vs. Saber from Fate/Stay Night. It seems that you all would rather have a semi-messy house by having Yomiko as a maid, than having a dirt-free heaven with Saber as one. However, spending time with an extremely cute librarian, who can freely control paper to her will, has its advantages as well. And she’s cute, did I mention that?

Now that we have Yomiko Readman working on our staff as a maid, we of course need a butler to round out our cleaning team. Who would you rather have as a butler, Death The Kid from Soul Eater, vs. Tamaki Suou from Ouran High School Host Club? I have to admit, both of these candidates are probably not the most qualified for this position, but do have their own advantages and disadvantages as well.

Death The Kid’s extreme obsessive-compulsive disorder of having everything be symmetrical might make your house look beautiful; or he might take a couple months making all the posters on your wall symmetrical, and leave the house to ruin. On the other hand he has two guns that turn into two hot girls, which will bring a lot of flavor to your household; if you know what I mean.

Tamaki Suou would make a wonderful butler, and would clean your house and serve you to the end of the world if that’s what he believes in. However, he is extremely over-dramatic, and will either impregnate you, or make others think you are gay. Not to mention that when you have the “King” working at your house, you will probably also have all his subjects working there as well. Basically, if you pick Tamaki, you are married to him for life; I don’t your partner would get along with him in any way, shape, or form.

I'll have to go with Death on this one,i mean im all for symmetry as an atist.Alas i must concur also that his "guns" will bring flavor to the mix ;)

King will have just be to much trouble ,more so than what hes worth.

Hmmm....I can see why people would vote for Death the kid especially with the guns...

Personally I'd choose Tamaki. I could probably get a lot of stock tips for my IRA from Kyoya as well, and a village idiot is pretty funny and cool when they're the less-destructive-with-their-siliness type, so Tamaki would be cool. Plus he's not a bad guy, and at the very least if I ever did have a lady over, it wouldn't be a problem so long as you tell her first and make the right countermeasures beforehand.

One the one hand Death The Kid's OCD would bug me and on the other hand Tamaki's antics might get annoying.

I pick Hayate, the true combat butler.

If that vote doesn't count and I have to pick one of them. I shall pick Death The Kid, since he has two hot guns...Bang..Bang..Bang...

Death the Kid. I've dealt with OCD friends and significant others before. In hindsight, they're the best at cleaning. Although it takes a little while to get used to their placings, and etc.

And the two hot chicks are a bonus.

Oh man. I love both of them but if i were to choose... Well Tamaki is kind of iono.....clumsy? But he is very classy and Death the Kid is too obssesive but he knows perfection. They're both funny but my vote goes to Death the Kid. He gots two hot weapons.

I absolutely hate symmetry/perfection. It's so bloody boring. And mmmk I don't want hot girls around me, that's quite alright.

I shall pick Tamaki. I love the overdramatic types.
And I love all the money the host can make so that can be a side job for extra cash! Rich kids = fantabulous expenses and vacations and stuff.

Don't start cuing in the song Gold Digger now, that's quite all right. =P

Hmm ... I'll go with Tamaki on this one just because I love the anime. That is the ONLY reason. I'd rather have Kyoya Ootori as a butler because he could also do my taxes and know if anything I did could be of profit.

If I could pick any fantasy character as a butler it would be Alfred Pennyworth. Alfred is not just a butler but an assistant, confidante and surrogate father figure which would be perfect for me.

Tamaki since he will end up hiring others to clean up my house. I like Death the Kid, but I have a sneaking suspicion that though he may be able to clean up my house all nice and proper, he may also end up sticking to balancing one picture frame before getting anything else for me.

Besides, I could handle Tamaki much better than Kid. I'm sure I could think of something to occupy our time while the others are cleaning. ;D

i mean, yes i may get kill if i was a little too rude, but for the most part he workable.

Tamaki Suou? If you ever read the original manga you'll know he can't clean squat. In a "rich people" environment maybe he can work but average household? I rather have workers that carry guns.

Death only if I got him a babysitter so I could have special time with Patty and Liz instead of them keeping his prissy arse in line. Final choice though is Tamaki Suou. Everything would be in order, and everyday you come home would be an absolute excitement never knowing what new adventure awaits you. How will the house be furnished today?

Tamaki is usually very calm and repressed as a butler. He's also loaded with money. So I have to pick him.
