This is a hard one. I like both characters. But, my vote will have to go to Saber. Yomiko would be more lazy. She would start reading and forget what I asked.

This is a tough one.
I'm conflicted, but I'll go with Yomiko. I may be 2nd best to Donnie, but having her around as a maid would be enough.

In the end, the choice is:

a) Having too many books, not a lot of cleaning done, and a BOOK LOVING MEGANEKKO.
b) Not enough food, lost of action, and MANA REPLENISHMENT.

Jeebuz, I'm stumped. I mean, I think Saber would make an awesome Maid (She's commited to her causes, after all), but she's also a Food-devouring machine. Yomiko, on the other hand, would devour your living space by flooding it with countless books, and next to no cleaning done. BUT. SHE'S. JUST. TOO. CUTE.

Dear gosh....it's official, as of this moment, I have lost hope for half of the community here at Jtor.

There is virtually no reason to vote for the opposition this time (referring to Yomiko).

She's a total klutz and bad at cleaning, so there's no reason to vote for her as a maid. Saber is undoubtedly super loyal compared to Yomiko, HEAVILY combat capable, and is verifiably hot/cute in a maid outift:



Yomiko on the otherhand, has never worn either.

Also, if you guys want to cop out and take the whole "who would win in a fight" approach that seems to keep popping up regardless of the theme, Saber's Excalibur is basically the equivalent of a Twin Buster Rifle, and I don't think it'd matter how many dictionaries you stack between Yomiko and that blast, if it can blast several buildings in row down, I think it can burn through paper. Not to mention couple that with her Avalon and then she's got guaranteed temporary invincibility plenty long enough to kill Yomiko.

And even if you were to go outside this debate to say that if you chose Saber you would have to fight in the Grail War, in that instance you'd have to be a Master which means you'd also have to be a magus, and you have to admit, getting superpowers of your own would be pretty friggin cool.

Heck, the only reason I can think of for voting for Yomiko is either A) she reminds you of a friend/girlfriend or B) you've got a thing for Meganekos, in which case it's not difficult to buy a pair of glasses for Saber and telling her to wear them.

Unfortunately we already know who would win (Haruhi) because as this poll is making obvious, very few people here have even seen Fate/Stay Night.....ROD on the other hand has been around forever, and plus it was even shown back on TechTV (and SciFi I think...). We don't even need to mention how well known Haruhi is....

(Contrary to some people's belief, I try to give an objective argument that relies primarily on factual data on the characters rather than my own personal preference when casting a vote. Example: Wolfwood vs. Anderson battle, I changed my vote after looking more into Anderson and realizing he is a much better role model when around kids, and the whole debate was over who was a better church role model, not who would I like to hang around more.)

I'll have to go with Yomiko! I even cosplayed as her on the last anime convention. The people there were so amused when I was buying books and manga there + she is a librarian, which is my current job too.

I like Saber a lot, but Yomiko wins in my books.. Hmm maybe she wrote that in my books herself, I wonder!
