Attack on Titan

Two new Attack on Titan game trailers show how it's actually played

Slicin' and dicin'

Tecmo Koei is one of my favorite developers. I'm a simple man with simple videogame needs, so the fact they pretty much reinvigorated the beat 'em up genre with Dynasty Warriors and their various spin-offs means I'm going to play whatever game they release. It's simple gameplay, yeah, but no one beats the amount of content available. I mean, I just finished One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 just last week and I played it almost constantly since its release.

Looking at the two trailers for their next release, Attack on Titan, I'm pretty pumped. Gone are the large masses of enemies and instead replaced by strategic "many on one" gameplay. It looks like you have to manage your team of recruits, gas tank supply, and where you are on the battlefield. I guess we'll see what the full game has in store, but these trailers at least give us a small glimpse in case you were on the fence.

If you're not on the fence and wanted to pre-order, you'll get special cleaning outfits for Eren and Levi and a festival outfit for Mikasa. Attack on Titan releases August 30th for Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox One, Steam, and even on the Vita.
