Range Murata's North American ROBOT following never died, but the releases did. Digital Manga Publishing gave up the releases after volume 3, and fans of the series (which is now going on its ninth volume in Japan) have been hoping for a savior.

That savior is Udon. The have picked up where DMP left off, and the full-color anthology series featuring several manga artists is scheduled to continue with the release of volume 4 of ROBOT in December. Fans will also be pleased to know that the release schedule has been bumped up considerably. What was once an almost yearly release will be moved to a quarterly schedule.

Be on the lookout for volume 4, which features the work of such greats as yoshitoshi ABe(Serial Experiments Lain), Kouji Ogata (Boogiepop Phantom) and over a dozen more of Japan’s finest artists.
