I love Fate/Zero. I love it enough that I went out and purchased the BD set of the first season, albeit at a discounted price. As beautiful as the set is, I can't actually recommend it simply due to its outrageous price here in Japan and in America. I don't regret the purchase, but I'm also insane so that doesn't mean a whole lot.

For those of you as equally out of your mind as I am, I'm here to deliver the good news: Aniplex will be releasing the second season of Fate/Zero on BD in America. Keep in mind this is the same kind of delivery they did for the first half a few months back: it's essentially the Japanese set with a translation booklet for some of the materials. What that means is you'll be getting uncut versions of the episodes, volume 2 of the soundtrack, a drama CD, a production materials booklet with a lot of in depth behind the scenes stuff and of course English subtitles for the show proper. The whole thing comes together in a beautiful box with exclusive artwork by Takashi Takeuchi.

Having purchased the first half of the series, I'm sort of obligated to buy the second half as well. Anybody else joining me on my trip to financial hell?
