Ultramen, Riders, and Gundams duke it out in Heroes VS
You know, I am actually happy to see Namco Bandai dishing out more games in the Compatible Hero franchise. And this time, they plan to get Spike Chunsoft to create Heroes VS, a fighting game that pits characters from the Ultra series, Kamen Rider, and Gundam against each other. If it wasn't for the game using chibi models that disregard the size of the actual characters, the Riders would be at a disadvantage in this battle. Most importantly, you can't have a fighting game with Gundams without having someone from G-Gundam, and luckily, players will get to use God Gundam and Master Gundam in battle. Other units include 00 Raiser, Reborn Gundam, Turn A Gundam, and Turn X. The Kamen Rider side bring out the kicks of Kamen Rider W, Kamen Rider Eternal, Kamen Rider OOO, Dr. Maki's Greeed form, Kamen Rider Den-O, and Nega Den-O. And last on the agenda, Ultraman Mebius, Alien Empera, Ultraman Zero, and Kaiser Belial finish off the announced roster with an Ultra Combo! Compare to other crossover titles, a roster of 18 characters is rather small for a crossover game like Heroes VS. Hopefully, we can expect more characters to appear when the game arrives on the PSP on Febuary 7th. If not, then the Dissidia/Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi-like gameplay will make this game enjoyable for fans of the three franchises. [via ANN] Did you know?
