Here's some news that should tickle folks who fancy weird JRPGs (Hi Elliot!): The masters of proactive niche game licensing at XSEED have gotten proactive on a new niche game, namely the hilariously named UnchainBlades ReXX, a PSP JRPG whose immediate selling point is that character design was handled by four individual famous anime/manga illustrators, guaranteeing that virtually every character would look pretty different and weird. It'll be getting a less weird name, though, Unchained Blades.
Beyond that, Destructoid's Jayson Napolitano revealed that it's a hardcore-targeted dungeon-crawler starring a host of non-human characters - including a Dragon King, a Golem, and a Gorgon - tasked with exploring a labyrinth by some jerk of a goddess.
The best news? You won't have to wait long to get your paws on it. The game is out next week on the PlayStation Network!
