Great news from Viz Media's panel at Sakura-Con! The company announced on Saturday that they have acquired licensing rights to the Berserk Golden Age Arc film trilogy. We hear that they plan on releasing the series' first installment, The Egg of the King, on home video as early as this fall. This is the best day ever!

The Egg of the King premiered in Japan last February and it's expected to hit stores in May. The Battle of Dodley, the second episode of the trilogy, has not yet been released -- it's scheduled to open in Japan on June 23rd.

For more information on the Berserk Golden Age Arc film trilogy, please visit Viz Media's official Facebook page.
