Viz Media to print all-ages comics featuring Hello Kitty
Viz Media have announced that there will be two new titles released this year featuring Hello Kitty and published by their Viz Kids imprint. The first title will debut at this year's San Diego Comic Con and is a one volume comic titled Hello Kitty: Fashion Music Wonderland. It's about Hello Kitty and "fashion, music, and adventure!" The second is a series of graphic novels titled Hello Kitty: Here We Go!, which focuses on her travels. She'll be looking high and low for her friends, adventuring to far-off places hunting down a cake thief, and, per the press release, even going back in time. Though the novels are targeted at kiddos, I'll probably end up picking them up because they sound absolutely adorable. Fashion Music Wonderland will be priced at MSRP US$6.99 and the new graphic novel series Here We Go! is at MSRP US$7.99 per book, to be made available during the fall of this year.
