I would love it if season 2 never actually happened-not because I loath the series or anything, but because it would elevate it to the single greatest act of trolling in anime to date.

Just watched it, and what the fuck happened

Once again, Gainax revolutionalizes the anime world through trolling. Deus ex Machina followed by Diabolus ex Machina? Well played, Gainax, well played.

What ever it ends up being on nonbeing or them doing or nondoing as long as it bugs the crap out of lots of people I will be happy.

gainax pulled some m night shamalon grade plot twists, i dont really care what the hell they do decide to do, season one was so amazing they get a free-be out of me. i'll watch the next one on loyalty alone

Keep doing what you do Gainax, and I'll keep loving every damn second of it.

I'll be honest though, I was not expecting any of that. When I saw Panty and Stocking's final move, I was expecting a Giga Drill Breaker reference and got none. When I expected Garterbelt to die permanently and Brief to take up his mantle, I was surprised that didn't happen. And when I expected the show to end on a quirky note that subtley implied a second season but didn't confirm it, I got a blatant announcement and some unexpected betrayal.

In other words, I'm looking forward to season 2.

Gainax, you lie to get what you want, that's like DINOSAURS. Haven't watched it watched it yet, but I'll probably start when the second season is out so that I can enjoy the whole series. Gainax hasn't failed me yet. I got high hopes for these lovable trollin douchebags.

Gainax is like Viz, except, good. And ridiculously borderline crazy intense crap, that would suck, were it made by anyone else.

Brief and Chuck with Garterbelt GOOOOOOOOO!!!!

You know what would be the Ultimate Trolling? If this was all ENTIRELY true, and they do make a Season 2, for Spring. Because we all "know" this is some form of trolling, so we're not expecting it to be completely true in the slightest, so Gainax would succeed in trolling the "smart ones", and just make the naive happy.

I know there's plenty of hate for this show but I fucking love it. I hope they pull some more sick shit out there ass and deliver on a 2nd season.

Why do this Gainax why?
The season finale was also pretty lackluster to me.

I think that the first season, was more about panty then stocking, and that if they do a 2nd season that the focus will go to stocking next, and I think she isn't really a demon. I mean she's a goth after all.

This is what I predict.

The ending pretty much blew my mind...I never saw it coming.

That show was amazing the ending blew my mind I just sat there on my chair for like 10 minutes just thinking "what just happened?!?!?!?!?" I really hope they actually do make another series and if they do I know for a fact it'll be called "Brief and Chuck with Garterbelt" it pretty much told us with the last sentence on the episode.
