Want to know the average viewership of your favorite Shonen Jump show? photo

The wonderful magazine ManiaxZ had compiled a list that shows the average television viewership of anime based off of Shonen Jump manga. I can’t be the only one to wonder what Shonen Jump anime are loved more in the motherland than here; and, of course, which ones get the belt to the ass by the Japanese public. Canned Dogs  puts things into perspective by stating that Code Geass R2, at its highest point of popularity, had about 4% of the population in one episode. While on the other hand Dr Slump’s most popular episode received 36.9%. Finally to throw things all out of wack, the Super Bowel gets something like 80%; which what anime would be getting if I was the president king of the world.

You can find the results of this study after the jump. It is to no surprise that the highest rated show that is currently playing is One Piece at 15.9%. However, I was completely surprised seeing Naruto at 8% and Bleach at 5 %. Even Dragon Ball GT did better than both of those two combined at 14.6%. What is truly funny is that America looks like bizzaro land in regards to these findings, with Naruto and Bleach being the most watched, and One Piece at the bottom. Though, Dragon Ball will always do well, because no other anime has Piccolo.
