Want to make your bath more tasty? Try Bandai's Curry Bath Powder!

Want to make your bath more tasty? Try Bandai's Curry Bath Powder! photo

Not enough om nom nom in your bath? Now you can add a bath tablet reminiscent of a curry cube into your tub. Ok, it's not really as gross as it sounds. Even though it does change the water to the corresponding color on the packet, the scents are not really curry--though they draw inspiration from the dish with aromas of ginger, milk, honey and..."herb?" Ok, so maybe it is a little weird.

From what I can gather on Bandai's site, it looks like a pack of this will cost about 280 yen, and comes in four "flavors" of curry stew: Sweet, Spicy, Very Spicy, and White. Sweet has extracts of apple, honey and red pepper, while Spicy boasts five times the amount of red pepper, and Very Spicy topping it with TWENTY TIMES THE AMOUNT OF RED PEPPER. Woo, that's pretty extreme. The site also advertises these as being "hot" which I hope means the bath water and not the actual bath salts.

Also included with the bath salts are one of twelve mini curry making kitchen utensils. You know, so you have have the more realistic experience of being made into curry. Just make sure to buy plenty of carrot and onion shaped bath toys for this one.
