Oh man I cannot wait for this anime. My friends and I always agreed, if there was just one manga in the world that needed to become an anime, it had to be Highschool of the Dead.
A great manga and a great studio. I seriously have high hopes for this anime, given how damn good the manga is and the reputation Madhouse has for animating darker-themed stories.

Good stuff, although if it's successful it'll spawn a zombie game like L4D, there's no way it could be turned into an RPG.

Interesting and will be checked out in anime form. I checked out the first chapter of the manga for zombies sake. While okay, I found it very hard to grasp (typical high school setting, check) after reading awesomeness of The Walking Dead.
If it were ordinary japanese folk young and old dealing with this problem, it would have present a more challenging tale, but I shouldn't judge it that far. Perhaps I'll give HSotD manga another shot with this anime on the way.

I'll never understand the oversize boobs. Divergence EVE would have been better without super size. :P

Looks awesome. I don't know why but I got a feeling this show is a shoe in to get licensed at some point. Here is hoping for a Blu-ray release some time in the future.

Looks good so far. I read a bit of the manga before and kinda forgot about it. Hopefully they won't hold back too much with it. I'd like to see it goes as all out as the manga, maybe farther.
Niomo don't worry the zombies don't run or use weapons. The clip in the trailer showed the zombie grabbing and pulling on the girl "Rei's" sharpened metal pole.

I too question the fan service. A show with a strong premise like this, really shouldn't need it to help carry itself.

I know a lot of people (mainly guys) will hate me for this comment, but I wish this title didn't have THAT much sexy fanservice (not saying it shouldn't have any at all); at times it's out of place and really, I rather see them kicking more zombies' ass than jiggling their booty.
