On August 29th in Japan, Arashi kicked off their 5X10 Anniversary tour at Tokyo's Kokuritsu Kyogijo (through the 30th at that location) with a bit of a bang. As you can see in the video above, the first show was rather well attended -- 70,000 people showed up for the first performance. That first shot of the crowd totally took my breath away. Can I be there, please?

The concert celebrates the group's tenth year together with quite a bit of fanfare, including over a billion yen spent in  fireworks, balloons, waterworks and more to make the show spectacular. Member Ohno Satoshi said during the finale:

"I'm standing here with unbelievable feelings. The ten years passed just like that. We are truly blessed to have received support over these  years. Please continue to watch over us from here on as well."

And as you can see for yourself, these guys definitely deserve what they've earned. Congratulations on ten years of awesome, Arashi!
