Ultra cool "Gundam Videographer" has been chronicling the reconstruction of the 1/1-scale Gundam RX-78-2 that originally stood at Odaiba in 2009 and is now back at Tokyo (apparently with no souvenirs for Hiroko, but nonetheless).
I don't have much to say on the matter because the videos (plural) really speak for themselves. You could find them after the jump if you so desire! I've got some major props for this guy that took all the video footage.
The Gundam itself is an awesome sight, though. It's nice that it's back in Tokyo so more folks could go visit. I saw it back on its opening day in Odaiba and was seriously blown away. I think I would have run away screaming if its leg or arm had begun to move, though. I mean, isn't that a scary thought? Japan building Gundams? It's cool, but damn. I don't know if the world is ready for huge robots. Then again, would the world really ever be ready for huge robots?
