If you have a wondrous superpower like a Geass, there has to be some temptation to abuse it for your own enjoyment, right? That's what Lelouch does in Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland, when he uses his Geass on the entire cast to help tell Nunnally the story of Alice in Wonderland. Yep, that's the wacky, non-canon premise here.
The trailer they just released (which you can find after the break) shows all your usual characters, but dressed up like the people and creatures of Wonderland. I'm a big fan of making C.C. the Cheshire Cat, because her name makes it so right. What I'm not liking as much is the bits of the trailer that look like a visual novel. This is supposed to be an anime, so put some movement in there!
The 30-minute OVA is being released in Japan on July 27, but if you feel like importing, both the DVD and the Blu-ray will include English subtitles, and Japanese Blu-rays will play on American Blu-ray players.
