No, this is not the movie that will be filmed this Fall that I acquired through the use of a time-traveling super robot; that one is for my personal use only. This happens to be the one shot back in the eighties, named Dragonball The Magic Begins. Our friend Mr. Lemon over at Destructoid ‘acquired’ this movie for their ‘Shity Movie Night’, but decided to hand it over to the ninja clan of Japanator because of the recent Dragon Ball Z hype train. So sit back, grab a sake, and enjoy this incredibly-unholy mess of the Dragon Ball Z franchise.

Man y did I watch that, I just couldn't look away. That goes in my top 10 of stupidest movies I ever watched. But gotta say it was intertainin and has some pretty good special effects for its time. I can't wait to see the Live Action DBZ movie.
Heh ^_^ I watched it when I was 8 and I liked it :)
Wow this takes the horribleness of Street Fighter to a whole other level.
horrible...is goku a chick? cause he looks like one.
LOL! This was done in HK I believe (rather than Japan) and I have to say the dubbing (as usual) COMPLETELY KILLS off what might have been barely watchable in its original language. Dubbing in those days makes chills go up my spine. Up till now I can't watched a dubbed anime (with the exception of maybe Pokemon?) without changing channels. What on earth is wrong with subtitles?
That was... what? I don't think I've seen... a movie now. I'm confused.
