Hey Guys!

This week I am bringing you cosplay covering the whole spectrum of the Mario franchise! Well - it might be more appropriate to say, “Cosplay loosely themed around the Mario franchise.” While costumes like Princess Peach are quite an undertaking, our overall-clad heroes are quite friendly to those with little cosplay experience. What is an ambitious cosplayer to do? You can take the above route, as the girls from WeGo4Kyo cosplay did!

Their explanation says it best:

“The concept is simple, could the Mario Bros. become cute Mario Sisters instead? Bred from a desire to create lolita-eque, ultra feminized versions, each girl worked on her outfit separately, incorporating whatever designs she desired. The only guidelines were to keep the color scheme the same, and to incorporate as much Nintendo fandom as possible!”

The results are fantastic! As you will see in the gallery below, WeGo4Kyo was not the only one to put their spin on the traditional Mario garb. This week’s post will allow you to feast your eyes on many more original takes on this classic cosplay including: Femme-Mario cosplay, The Mario Sisters, Punk Rock Peach, the Pimped out Nintendo crew and some of the most adorable mini-cosplayers you will ever see! All right, the kids are more than likely only Halloween costumes but I make the rules around here! They are too cute to be excluded!
