That’s it. I give up. I can never decide if I am
more or
less motivated to create an amazing costume after seeing phenomenal work like this. On one hand, cosplay of this quality is inspirational - on the other hand - it puts casual cosplayers like me in my place. It is finally time to admit to myself that cosplay of this caliber might just be out of my reach – especially considering I don’t know how to sew…
Jealousy aside, I am extremely pumped to feature work from
Trinity Blood this week. Many of the individuals below will account that these are the most elaborate, expensive and time consuming endeavors of their cosplay careers. Several people listed the timeline of their work in
years…and it is easy to see why.
After hours upon hours of scouring the net, I ended my search with an impressive library of over 200 images from this post apocalyptic world. It was
difficult to narrow down this gallery, which is unique from my other cosplay post experiences. It seems that only the elite cosplayer attempts the attire from this series - and more often than not - they succeed with flying colors.
The costumes in this gallery were modeled after various sources: the
Trinity Blood light novel, anime, manga and incredible illustrations from various art books. I have tried to include a wide variety of characters for your enjoyment! My personal favorites are Queen Esther and Catarina Sforza, but all of these elaborate works of art are on par with any Hollywood costume designer I have ever seen.
As for next week, I have received several requests for a
Castlevania cosplay edition. From the images I have already gathered - I know you won’t be disappointed. I am also working on another interview for next week, so you have that to look forward to! Let me know if you have any other requests, anything from weekly themes to other cosplay related questions! Enjoy!
