Wow, just wow. It was three years ago when I first stumbled upon a humble little gaming blog called Destructoid. There wasn't much on the blog, just a few news posts, a webcomic featuring a robot dude and something about Japanese PSP porn (which is how I found the site). This little blog called Destructoid would later join the trinity of gaming blogs that I followed everyday for all these years.

This weekend, Destructoid celebrates it's 3rd Birthday, it all started Yanier "Niero" Gonzalez and Thomas Lackner founded their own gaming blog and got into where every gamer has dreamed: E3 or the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The world would be introduced to Destructoid at E3 2006 with Niero armed with a robot helmet made from Air Conditioner parts and an Armani suit, Destructoid would soon become on of the most inluenital gaming blogs on the internet, one of the few with it's own style. With a great staff and an ever-growing community, Destructoid is one of the leading hardcore independent gaming blogs on the internet today.

This week has been really awesome: tons of reviews, Classic Japanese Spider-man, a Life-sized Gundam, Colonel Sanders' saves a Japanese Baseball team, and we get to see three Japanator editors in a video all barefeet and talk about yaoi.
