Weekly Recap: It's been a year Edition!!!
by Edward Baylon, 03/28/2009

Where does the time go? About a year ago, I was a mere lurker on Japanator and all was normal but then it happened--- I met the Japanator staff at Anime Matsuri. I've always wondered how these people I've come to follow were like in real life and I did, and was I ever surprised. Turns out, the Japanator staff are just normal folk like me and we all shared the passion for all things Japanese. They're also a bit pervy but I guess that comes with the territory. I'm proud to say that I'm a better person now because I met them. SANKYU JAPANATOR!

This week's been really interesting and highlights are: cute girls dressing up as little boys while serving girls, manga continues after 18 year hiatus, Japanese man who survived two atomic bombs, NEW ASTROBOY TRAILER, hello kitty underwear-- FOR MEN, and Utada Hikaru's US Debut.

Please, a moment of silence is on order for Anime Insider RIP 2001 - 2009.
