Anyone that reads this page knows that I love the Japanese side of YouTube. I even like it more than Nico Nico Douga! I have my favorites lined up in my subscriptions, which include, but are not limited to musician Hyadain, a Otousan Softbank channel, and the guy who records first-person accounts eating Japanese snacks in high-definition, shitemita.

But none of those are my favorite favorite. My true JP YouTube love is a dog named Goro, owned by YouTube user SiroWan. You see, I'm absolutely obsessed with the breed of dog known as the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. And before you ask, yes, I liked Cowboy Bebop. Yes, I have my own Space Cowboy/Data Dog. But my love of Corgi pups goes way beyond that. They're just amazing little animals, and I've always loved them.

One of the most amazing of all of them is Goro, the hearty, adventuresome little Corgi that goes and sees all of Japan with his owner, SiroWan. They make the cutest, most pointless videos ever, and I eat them up every time they're released. I'd go as far as to say that a subscription to SiroWan's YouTube channel is good for your heart and your overall mental health. You'll just be a happier person. This guy and his dog are amazing, and I'd love to meet them both one day.

What prompted me to share Goro and SiroWan with you was today's video release. It features Goro riding in a shopping cart through a home store in Japan.  Even though it probably was not intentional, this reminds me of the last episode of K-On!! where the girls go to a home store and do...well, nothing. Goro is actually cuter than all the K-On! girls combined.

Watch on as some kid tells his parents that Goro is cute. We agree. I also love that SiroWan has the same curse as I -- a magnetic pull toward anything corgi. You'll see at the end.
