We know you guys love funny fansubs -- our original article on them is still one of our most popular. The beautiful thing about fansubbing is, it keeps happening, and along with it, our favorite funny moments keep happening (along with hilarious new ones). We decided to tweak our awesome new feature What Manga's Been Up To this week and turn it into an anime version as an excuse to bust out some new fansubs for you!

I wanted to screencap my bootleg DVD of Ponyo for this post (and yes, I watched it because I was both desperate and stupid), but the fansubs on it were so bad they ventured beyond funny and into completely retarded territory. I had to accept that what I was reading was what the inside of someone's thoughts looked like, and that was a terrifying realization to come to. It gives me the shivers just to think about it.
