Now I know you are wondering, how can a soccer RPG be good? Well, the answer is if it is made by Level 5 of course. The name of the game is Inazuma Eleven, produced by RPG masterminds Level 5. This game reminds me of Prince Of Tennis, but with magic and less homosexual overtones. One thousand playable characters folks, and I would make the assumption that each one can join your team. However, it appears as a certain aspect of Naruto has rubbed off onto the main character; Pro tip: it’s his voice. Level 5 if you are reading this can you please bring this over here, I’ll make sure DMV buys it.

Legacy comments:
The anime sequences look really good. Although I'm not a fan of sports games at all, maybe I'll give this one a try.
And I thought Captain Tsubasa was evil... XD
This one is Final Fantasy meets Shaolin Soccer.
for your information, Captain Tsubasa was a RPG videogame for supernes and it was the top 1 in sales, in the same time when street fighter II came, that could tell to you how important is a rpg soccer videogame
well, Captain Tsubasa is a very successful manga. Given Japanese culture, I am not surprised that one of its game could top SFII. I have seen 5 for SNES, 1 for NES and 1 for PS.
