Having just watched the finale of my favorite drama this season, Buzzer Beat, I feel a little empty. Maybe it's because it's always hard to see the shows end that you love the most, but hey, there's always another good drama around the corner. I'm really looking forward to Tokyo Dogs (starting this month!), but I always keep my ear to a ground when waiting to hear what's coming up next season, and a batch of rumors popped up that may very well be worth having a look at.

J-Drama Weblog posted a full list, which can be found after the jump, but the highly notable ones include Gokusen 4, Ryu ga Gotoku (for the inclusion of Arashi's ever popular Nino Kazunari), Bloody Monday 2 and Code Blue 2. Several sequels in there!

Here's the facepalms -- no Nakama Yukie listed for Gokusen 4 (what is Gokusen with no Yankumi?)and Code Blue was not exactly Tomahisa Yamashita's best role. Maybe he can step it up a notch after Buzzer Beat, but I'm not so convinced. I'm thinking I might stick with Ryu ga Gotoku, and maybe try to catch up with Bloody Monday before the second season hits as I heard it's quite good. Any of these looking interesting to you?

No Nakama Yukie/Yankumi?? It might as well be a whole different show altogether...Gokusen 4 is an obvious attempt to milk the popular franchise till it's dry...

I have to agree that Code Blue wasn't the best even though the cast members were nice to look at...So probably not gonna pick it up. I love Amami Yuki so will check out whatever she's gonna be in. Yamada Ryosuke's drama looks like another detective one. I enjoyed his role along with the others in Tantei Gakuen Q, so maybe I'll check it out. He's cute. =3 The others will need to wait for a more comprehensive summary I guess.

I haven't exactly finished watching Code Blue yet- But I suppose the ending will depend on whether or not I decide to spend my time on a second season.

I have to agree, it wasn't Pi's best role. I tend to fall for the characters he plays- But not in that show. I'm still stuck on KenKen from Stand Up!!

I didn't watch Gokusen past season 1. Without a Sawada Shin, there is nothing for me. I ALMOST made it through Yoiko no Mikata just for Shin- and also my intense love of Sho- but I still haven't managed that, either. X3

@Beach_bum1303 -- You and me both. KenKen was such a sweet character -- I wanted to jump through the screen and give him a hug the whole show. :)

Gokusen: Yankumi x Shin is such a huge portion of the plot, and I couldn't imagine what it could be without that, so I never bothered after season 1.

Okay. I'm trying to think of a role in Ryu Ga Gotoku (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0991243/) that Kazunari could pull off. Not that he's a bad actor by any means, but he's not the toughest-looking guy out there...
