Wolf Children doing great, showing at Hawaii next month
According to a report by Mantan, The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki has been rather successful so far, earning US$51 million and counting since its opening on July 21. ANN says that not only is Wolf Children already more successful than Summer Wars (reviewed), it has already been green-lit for distribution in 43 countries and has remained in the top list for eight weeks in a row. That's impressive! Moreover, if you happen to live in Hawaii, you'll have a chance to see this film in theaters on October 17th and/or the 21st over at the Dole Cannery Stadium during the Hawaii International Film Festival.
