A long time ago I told myself that I really shouldn’t be shocked with anything Japan produces anymore, because once you do you are in a world of surprise. Unfortunately, I became soft in my old age and wasn’t expecting to see this, an all girl pro-wrestling league featuring women of all ages called NEO.
When I say all ages, I really mean all ages. The video above is proof, featuring a young grade school girl named Riho vs. a female in her twenties named Makoto. I’m sure if I looked hard enough there would be a senior citizen there somewhere in the league as well. I don’t want to stereotype, but I’m sure this was made for your average otaku and not your run-of-the-mill salaryman; meaning this was produced solely for the purpose of extracting 100% pure Japanese moe.
Or maybe I got this all wrong. Maybe Japan is filled with super strong little girls who take side jobs in the gladiatorial arena for a little extra pocket cash. It worked with the Roman empire, I don’t see why it couldn’t work here. If this is not enough moe for you, check out some more examples after the jump.

Btw, I liked watching an episode of 'The Real Cat Fight' on some satellite fight channel. It's a Japanese female wrestling/ca('n)tfight show that really looked fun and fairly ridiculous. Maybe you guys should check that out.
The actual group the little ones are part of is called Ice Ribbon. It was started by Sakura Emi who saw that fewer and fewer girls were getting involved with female pro-wrestling in Japan.
Although I find her intentions are good, some of their early shows with no rings, on thick mats in some dimly lit offices were...a bit...creepy?
I actually saw this on a National Geographic show called Taboo. And surprisingly, the people who watch it are mostly female. The show said something about it being appealing to the female audience because it would be normally unacceptable for a normal woman in Japan or something like that, and that made it interesting.
I too, was expecting the viewership to be mostly male, but apparently girls like it most.
