Over at Cure Maid, they're celebrating the impending release of the Gurren Lagann movie with a special Gurren Lagann-themed cafe. The event, going on from August 22nd to September 15th down in Akihabara. Not only will there be food and Gurren Lagann-related cosplay, but they're also planning to show off various goods and figures from the show, as well as offer a few items up for sale.

- Gurren gang special plate
- Pork "Mole Steak"
- Nia's handmade fruit punch
- A drink in Yoko's image
- The burning passion of Kamina and Simon drink
Right now they're still planning things out, but oh how I would love to go to the cafe and have a Gurren Lagann-tastic experience while I'm there. Sadly, Tokyo Game Show will be happening after this, so my only feasible chance to go to Japan will be crushed by the wreckage from the drill that pierces through to the heavens. Sad panda.
