Can you hear that? It sounds like a low rumble of a million thick-heeled boots dancing in place. The whisper of a thousand bolts worth of satin and frilly lace. I high keening whine like a hundred miles of beach covered in hungry seagulls.
Yes. After ten years, X-Japan is finally releasing a new song!
The news has spread from
the X-Japan site to
other fan sites and now here to the Japanator shores where it has hopefully died down to tolerable levels. The new song, cleverly titled I.V., will be featured only in the end credits to the forthcoming SAW IV film, and not on the official soundtrack album. One point of note is that the song will feature some hot licks from the deceased guitar player Hide (hee-day) recorded before his death. The song also contains English lyrics, so as not to scare away those skittish SAW fans.
There is no word of any official CD release of the song, but a video will be made to promote it.
