Yakuza discussed on The Daily Show
by Jon Snyder, 11/18/2009
Yakuza discussed on The Daily Show photo

Jake Adelstein is one unlucky guy.

You might remember him as the intrepid American reporter who exposed the Yakuza liver transplant scandal. His efforts were rewarded with death threats, and he was forced to live under constant police protection in both the United States and Japan. The Yakuza boss who threatened him has since become a Buddhist priest, and Jake is now promoting his new tell-all book, Tokyo Vice. To that end, he appeared on The Daily Show Monday night to ham it up with Jon Stewart. The video of their highly amusing interview can be found after the break.

So, anybody here planning on reading Tokyo Vice?
