Yaoi-Con 07: The yaoi-ing

I didn't have the lovely experience of visiting Yaoi-Con. No, that honor was laid upon CTZ, who will share his experiences and horrors of going to a yaoi based convention. Instead, I'm wrapping up some of the news provided by our friends over at YaoiSuki.net. It seems that no matter where you go, cock is waved in your face. Even in the food.

• -Juné announced over 30 licenses at the con, along with 3 from 801 Media
• -A report on Hinako Takanaga's panel
• -A slew of panel reports, covering Yaoi Press, Drama Queen, Dany&Dany, Deux Manga, Blu, and Boysenberry
• -Reviews of the yaoi cafe and bishonen auction

One of the interesting bits of news is from the Blu panel, where Tokyopop admitted that in addition to prices going up on their yaoi titles, some of their mature titles would be raised in price as well. With the yaoi titles, they said that there will be more features like color inserts and more content, but no real word on what the regular Tokyopop titles will be getting, if anything at all.

@Une: I can speak with authority when I say that Yaoi Con's bishounen auction is WAY more fun than Chippendales.
