Yay! Bones is involved with Layton vs Ace Attorney

Today is a great day to be a fan of the Ace Attorney games because Bones is going to handle all the animated sequences for Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney. As one who has enjoyed the Ace Attorney series, it's good to see that the animation is placed in good hands.

Long story short, this was announced by the creator of the Ace Attorney series and Level 5's CEO during the Ace Attorney 10th anniversary event in Tokyo. In which they also shared one of the animated scenes that we can expect out of the game.

Since Capcom has yet to localize the second Edgeworth game, there could be a slight chance that it might not make it to the west. Hopefully they realize that this is one beast that you should not contain in one region (I don't see any licensing nightmares tying it down either.), as there seems to be a handful of people that are curious to see how these two series are going to clash.

If you want to get an idea of what to expect out of Bones, then check out the gallery below.

So this is where Dragon's Crown's great menu comes from

See that sweet scene up in the header? That's the frankly awesome-looking character-select menu from Dragon's Crown, a game worked on by Vanillaware and its lead artist George Kamitani. Cool menus like that don't come from ju...
