If you are looking forward to the next installment of Super Robot Wars then it is time to be excited, because the PV of its newest game, Super Robot Wars Z, has just been released. Now we can finally see what this game looks like in motion, and let me tell you now that it looks fantastic. I think it’s important to remember that this game is not coming out for a next generation system (or is it this generation system?), but for the lowly Playstation 2.
Banpresto, the makers of SRW are known for reusing sprites from other games; however, it appears as if they are using brand new sprites for every mecha in the game, with additional shiny special effects as well. We also see in this trailer the new squad system in action, which this time only uses three units instead of the previous four and two. Man am I dieing to use the Nirvash in action and dice up some baddies while hanging ten, you can’t deny its cool factor. For those important this game, it will be released the 25th of September.

I doubt many people here will appreciate this trailer, anyway, the cutins look very good, especially the Gundam ones. Some of the sprite work I thought was a bit weird, but on the whole they look good in motion.
This would've been even more awesome with the voices kept in. The sprites look amazing. I can't believe it's being released so soon. I'm eager to try out Gravion and Aquarion.
