12 minutes of the Madoka Vita game hit the net

It looks like a licensed game

I don't think too many folks expect a whole lot from licensed games based on anime series. More often than not they tend to be be cheap attempts at visual novels that serve as fanservice fodder. They're cheap to produce and don't take much time to develop.

For a brief moment in time, I thought that maybe the upcoming Vita game, Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram, would be different. A third person action game featuring the cast of the hit series, Battle Pentagram features a host of costumes and what could have been some nutty action.

The grim reality is that it sort of looks like a fan game. I suspect series fans will buy this for the adventure game elements and multiple endings rather than the action gameplay.

Check out the 12 minutes of gameplay above and let us know if you're still jazzed for The Battle Pentagram.
