A Daily Dose of Music: KANA-BOON

It's Shippuden time!

There's a few things your can always count on with Naruto Shippuden. Naruto will still not be Hokage, the fight scenes will take too long, and the music will always be fantastic. With the Shonen staple entering its final phases, I decided to try to catch up on the latest season, so I'd kind of understand the new movie when it comes out. Well, I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Sasuke looks all normal now and is teaming up with Naruto, Orochimaru is alive, and everyone is glowing! Argh!

Besides my confusion I was greeted by a fantastic opening an ending song, something that I already half expected. The current opening is the upbeat hit, Silhouette, by the Japanese rockers KANA-BOOM. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I initially thought that they were a girl rock band! I hear the error in my listening now that I've sat down with the song, but through my television I was totally excited about a new girl rock band!

That doesn't diminish the merits of this fine track though. It's the perfect pace for what looks like a crazy season! I hope I understand what's going on soon.
