A quickie about love hotels

When you just need a couple of hours

When Japan sets out to perfect something, they seem to go a bit overboard at times. This is evident by just looking at some of these rooms that you can rent in love hotels in Japan.

Love hotels are primarily frowned upon in Japan for their impure nature and the strange clientele that it can bring in. Most of them are hidden away so that you can't tell that it is one. The only way to know is to look for symbols outside like hearts or if the rooms have "rest" rates that are only good for about 1 - 3 hours. If you are in Japan or have visited, I'm pretty sure that you have passed by one without even knowing it. Some establishments even have multiple entry and exits so that you can sneak in and out without someone seeing you. Convenient, right?

Normally, love hotels have some type of theme rooms that you can pick from. Anything that you can think up, there is probably a love hotel with that type of room. Also, some hotels offer costumes to wear, for an extra charge, to spice things up even more. Not sure I would want to wear something that might of been use a hundred times already. Just to ease your mind about it, they do clean them after every use. You can also rent out gaming consoles if you so chose. I would think you are too "busy" to play one but hey, to each their own.

The concept of these hotels seems like a perfect fit for a country that has a hard time showing intimacy in public. Or for anyone that still lives at home that can't get that much needed private time with their girlfriend/boyfriend. I don't know about all of you guys, but if I had the chance to use one, I would just for the experience.
