Absolute Boyfriend being adapted for the stage

0

Yuu Watase's Absolute Boyfriend is getting a stage adaptation. In March 2013, the play will open at an unannounced theater in Tokyo. The story concerns Riiko Izawa and her attempts to get a boyfriend. In the process, a perfect man shows up on her doorstep, ready for a trial run.

Bringing a story by Yuu Watase to the stage isn't without precedent. Back in 2010, AmiPro also brought Fushigi Yuugi to the stage for five nights.

Absolute Boyfriend has also been adapted into a live-action TV series, with versions planned for Taiwan and South Korea. It seems like pretty soon, you won't be able to go anywhere in Asia without seeing this story!
