Atlus/Index now officially separate companies

One side handles games, the other marketing

We've known for a couple of months that Atlus and Index were splitting up, and that day finally arrived. As of April 1, Sega has separated the companies, leaving game development in the capable hands of Atlus and giving Index all the business and marketing work. To go along with the mighty company cleave, Atlus put up a notice on their site with their new logo, seen above in the header.

There's nothing really big here, just a minor change of the guard. Since we knew this was coming, the biggest news is the new logo, which is pretty much the same as the old one. Only thing is that the new logo is missing all the notches in the letters. I suppose with a minor corporate change comes a new look. Either way, as long as Atlus is hard at work on all things Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, I'll be a happy bear.
