Attack on Titan news round-up; Phantasy Star, Sakura-Con and more

There's just no escaping it

This week has seen its fair share of Attack on Titan-related news. To start, the official soundtrack has been licensed by Anime Limited, and is now available digitally through iTunes, Amazon UK and Google play. The release seems to be an exact copy of the original Japanese soundtrack, with all 16 tracks complete and intact. A physical release is said to be on its way this summer, no doubt just in time for the bulk of convention season, though an exact date has yet to be announced.

A handful of Attack on Titan-related guests have also been scheduled to attend Sakura-Con this April, leading some to speculate that a screening of the Funimation's upcoming dub may take place at the event. Some of those announced include Mikasa Ackerman's voice actress Yui Ishikawa, and series director Tetsuya Kinoshita.

Finally, in gaming news, Sega's Phantasy Star Online 2 will be having a special Attack on Titan crossover event. It's not the first crossover to grace the MMO, but it looks pretty amazing. The trailer gives us all a look at what gamers can expect -- new costumes, 3D-maneuvering gear, and a cameo by everyone's favorite Colossal Titan, though I'm told you won't be able to actually fight him. Now, if only Sega would get off their asses and localize the game for us.
