Aw snap: Mega Ran and Mighty No. 9 team up for a sweet deal

Mighty No. Ran anyone?

I may not be up to date with Mega Ran's music, but there's something amazing about the way how the guy tells an engaging story while he raps. Whether it's his tunes about the Blue Bomber, Final Fantasy VII, or other neat topics, the man puts his soul into every verse that he shoots out.

Speaking of Mega Ran, his upcoming album, RNDM, includes a bonus goody for a few lucky individuals who pre-order it. Thanks to COMCEPT's aid, the first 999 folks who reserve the track will receive a free copy of the Mighty No. 9 soundtrack. In other words, you might get two sweet tracks for the price of one.

If that isn't enough good news for you, it turns out that Mega Ran will team up with Michiru Yamane (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Bloodstained's Soundtrack) and Manami Matsumae (Megaman and Mighty No. 9's Soundtrack) in two separate tracks in RNDM. Interestingly, the latter collaboration song, "Mighty!," is the credit song that'll play at the end of Mighty No. 9.

RDMN hits Mega Ran's Bandcamp page on Sept. 15, which happens to be on the same day that Mighty No. 9 warps its way to stores. Until then, you can check out his music video of "Your Favorite Song" (that's the actual name of the track), a tune that'll appear in his upcoming album. Also, if you happen to be at this year's San Diego Comic Con, Mega Ran will appear at Nerdist Industries' celebration on Friday July 10 at 8:00 p.m.
