Balticon '10: Bandai brings you more Code Geass

I really love Code Geass and personally think it's one of the better series of more recent anime. Along with the show, Code Geass also has several volumes of manga, and that's what Bandai's sinking its teeth into!

Robert Napton, the North American anime and manga distribution marketing director, announced Sunday night after Otakon had ended that Bandai Entertainment has gotten the license for Code Geass: Bakumatsu Era. Just where did he announce this? Baltimore-Washington International airport, also known as BWI, where many industry members had been delayed for several hours -- hence the "Balticon" moniker.

This manga is a re-imagining of the characters of Code Geass as historical figures in Japan's Bakumatsu era, and ran in Kerokero Ace maganzine in 2008. I'm all up for a revisionist history and a spin on characters I already love. How about you? Do you look forward to more Lelouch goodness, or has it all been played out?
