Bandai launches manga site

Bandai Entertainment releases some pretty popular manga series (did I hear anyone say Gurren Lagann?), but until recently it had no site dedicated to just its manga.

Well, those days are of the past. "It's long overdue," says Robert Napton of Bandai on the newly created site, "but our plan is to have this be the destination on the latest news and release information for our publishing lineup." Yup, www.bandaientmanga.com has been launched. And not a moment too soon, don't you think?

Just in case the folks at Bandai are listening (or reading, actually) what do you think of what they've started on? How do you think it can be improved?  Remember that you, the fans, are the ones who make this work.

Bandai Entertainment announced today that it has launched a manga specific website, bandaientmanga.com. Previously manga information could be found at the company’s main site www.bandai-ent.com.

“The publishing line grew significantly in 2009, so we wanted to have a unique space for news and information about our upcoming releases,” said Robert Napton of Bandai Entertainment Inc.
He added, “We have some exciting releases this month such as Lucky Star Vol. 4, Gurren Lagann Vol. 4, Gundam 00F Vol. 2, and Code Geass Nunnally Vol. 4, all of which are previewed on the site. Check back frequently for more updates and release information,” Napton added.
