Behold the glory of Idolmaster: Platinum Stars' full gameplay

Get Happy!

The time has almost come for the PlayStation 4 to be graced with a proper [email protected] presence, and Bandai Namco has seen fit to remind us all of that fact, with some new gameplay footage straight from the Nico Nico Choukaigi event this weekend.

The trailer above shows off a cool demo-mode rendition of the song "Happy!" as performed by Miki, Ritsuko, and Yayoi. What's notable is how smooth everything looks. There's barely any aliasing, and the smoothness translates to the framerate and the animations. Another trailer was recorded from the Nico Nico Choukaigi stream by Youtuber Xenosaga7, and shows off some of the training gameplay, complete with dice rolls to represent training results, as well as the setup process for the rhythm game portions.

So far, so [email protected], which is exactly what most fans are signing up for. That, and the opportunity to be buried alive in absurd amounts of pricey DLC.
