Blood C receives animation award

Well, the animation WAS pretty good

While it isn't a perfect show, Blood C is an alright horror show that looks and sounds solid. It seems that other publications agreed, as the 12 episode program was awarded the 2013 Reaper Award for Best Animation.

Presented by the horror site Dread Central and Home Media Magazine, the award was given based on a panel of judges and a "consumer vote." Other winners include V/H/S for Best Indie Release, Juan of the Dead for Best Foreign Release and Cabin in the Woods for Best Kill, Best Theatrical Cut and Title of the Year.

Hey, anybody who loves Cabin in the Woods is alright by my book. As for their choice of Blood C, I guess I'm alright with it. When you consider that their release period covers August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013, there aren't really a ton of shows to choose from. I would have preferred if they had selected Another or Okamikakushi, but Blood C will do.
